Milestone cuts
Now that you have 50 milestones, I'm going to give you the opportunity to elimate 'some' of them. Circle the best ideas that you wrote down. I want you to circle at least 90% of them. Use your calculator to figure out how many that is (Your total milestones x 0.9). Feel free to circle more than the 90%, this is just the minimum amount. Remember that the more milestones you have, the more baby steps on your path towards your goal. We really want to build some momentum and encourage the snowball effect.
Circle those ideas to define your milestones now.
Milestone Sorting
Great work! Now we are going to put those milestones in progressive order of difficulty, each of them taking you a step closer to accomplishing your ultimate goal. I want you to get some scissors and cut out all of the goals that you circled. When you are done, lay them out on a table in front of you and divide them into a natural order of what you percieve to be difficult. For example, put all your easy milestones into 1 group, medium in another, and the more difficult ones in their own group.
Now that they are somewhat sorted into categories of difficulty, I want you to put them in progressive order. The order should start with the simplest to achieve milestones and end with the milestones that are further down your path to your ultimate goal.
Here is a small example, sorted simplest to more complex.
- Make eye contact with a woman that you don't know and smile at her.
- Ask a woman for her phone number.
- Ask a woman to go on a date.
- Experience a great date.
- Kiss a woman.
- Make love to a woman.
- Join the mile high club.
I've asked you to cut the milestones into separate pieces so that you can arrange and re-arrange them until you are comfortable with the order. The point is that we want to sort these milestones so that you can start on the simple ones right away and work your way towards the rest a little later.
Do your sorting now, and don't remove any of them. If you experience any doubts during this exercise, just take a moment, close your eyes and visualize your ultimate goal to re-inspire you. Don't sell yourself short, I know you can accomplish each and every one of these milestones if you set your mind to it, and practise the lessons in this course.
Once you've established a good progressive order for your milestones, its time to write them down as a list. Enter your Milestone list into your journal, finally ending with your ultimate Goal.
Now I don't really want you to rush out and start fulfilling those Milestones right away. There are some other things that we need to cover before you dive in. But if you are feeling really confident and juiced up, then don't let me stop you. Don't let anything stop you.
Regardless, its time to take a break from the program. Don't forget to practise your visualizations and daydreaming as often as you can, its important. In the next chapter, we are going to take a peek into your future.
